Kind Soles
The Noah Farrelly Memorial Fund keeps Noah's ripple of kindness growing.
One pair of shoes, one act of kindness, one safer runner at a time.
A Life That Touched Everyone
Noah Farrelly's dream was to run at the Division I level, a goal he reached at Stony Brook University in 2018. On December 4, 2018, he was struck and killed by a vehicle while out on a training run. Through organ donation, he saved six lives — and the ripple didn't stop there. A detective told our family that Noah's story would carry to countless people we'd never know: new organ donors, drivers who'd think twice before passing a runner too closely. We started this fund to keep that ripple growing.
“A ripple effect of good.” That's what a detective called it. We've spent every year since trying to live up to it.

Ways We Keep Noah's Ripple Growing
Three programs, one mission: turning Noah's kindness into action across our community.
Farrelly's Feet
Free sneakers delivered mid-year, when growing feet need them most and the help has largely moved on, to students at all seven BCSD elementary schools.
Kind Soles Initiative
Kindness assemblies for every BCSD student, K-12, paired with a community shoe drive that funds new sneakers and challenges students to document 5,000 acts of kindness.
Runner Safety Wearable IDs
Free wearable identification and road safety education for young runners, so no other family waits nine hours for the call we did.
Every pair collected, new or gently used, moves us one step closer to every Binghamton child having safe, properly fitting shoes.
Join the ripple — donate, volunteer, or host a shoe drive drop-off site.
